Growing up in South Florida, Manicia was raised in a bilingual household, speaking English and Haitian Creole. Her passion for writing and storytelling started at a young age, leading her to pursue an advertising degree. She previously worked at a boutique marketing agency, helping clients in the home remodeling and phone repair industry.
She enjoys going to the beach and trying new restaurants during her free time.
