Mackinley was born and raised in Virginia and also attended the University of Virginia where she got a degree in Foreign Policy. Her professional experience includes Business Development and Sales in the software space. She has lived in South Florida for the past 3 years and can be doing one of the following- walking her dog, running, snorkeling, or reading!
